The North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (DPI) is no longer using NCWISE to manage student information. This means that the Parent Assistant Module (PAM), which allowed parents to access their school’s student-information, is no longer available. This year, the state directed school systems to use PowerSchool. When it is completely functional, parent and student portals will be available, giving parents access to student information.
Forthcoming online access to student schedules, grades, homework and attendance will make it easy for parents to keep track of their child’s progress.
